Wow, there are so many it would be hard to pick one. There are two that spring to my mind, Rosalind Franklin, who helped discover DNA. And of course alexander flemming, who discovered Penicillin and really helped save us from so many deadly diseases that could easily kill us if we didn’t have it!

Great question, when I read this question the first person that popped to mind was Alexander Fleming, the person who discovered penicillin, the medicine that tastes like banana! Also he discovered it completely by accident!

I would say Charles Darwin. First of course because thanks to him understand the theory of evolution and understand where things come from is a good step to understand where they are going.
Also because he gained his interest about the evolutionary processes while he was travelling the world. He was an explorer and I believe it is a great skill for a scientist.

I agree with Lea, Charles Darwin for me! He disagreed with what everyone had believed for over 1500 years about where animals and humans came from. He said they were all wrong and was laughed at over his ideas. But through his hard work and love for all living things he created the theory of evolution, something that changed the world but also the way that people thought about the earth forever!

I would say Charles Darwin, the father of evolution. When he tried to publish his work, people didn’t believe a word he was saying, but I really respect him for sticking up for what he believed in.

I would say Louis Pasteur, as he basically flipped the whole theory of spontaneous generation on its head, by showing that microbes cause spoilage of food and are the cause of infectious disease. He also helped with lots of vaccines for some microbes
