• Question: what's the most cleaver/most interesting bacteria ?

      For me it’s the infection causing bacteria such as salmonella, staphylococcus, clostridium, campylobacter and E. coli. This is because they overcome all the body’s immune system to make you ill. That’s pretty clever to me!

      I find all bacteria interesting! I find it fascinating how some bacteria only affect humans, and some only affect animals. Then there are some that can be transferred from animals to humans! I also think bacteria are getting cleverer. They are getting so strong they are able to become resistant to antibiotics! I’m currently working with C. difficile, but I have previously worked with Salmonella, Campylobacter which both cause food poisoning and C. tetani which causes tetanus!
