For me, it would be to get my research into a really fantastic journal as a first author. This would prove to the world that I was doing great research and hopefully boost my career prospects!

I would like to discover something that nobody else has found before, that can help humans combat climate change and then travel all around the world telling people about this exciting discovery 🙂

Firstly I would like to get my PhD and become Dr Ananthi (a doctor of science, not a medical doctor) then I would love to find a new research project that absolutely fascinates me and ideally which allows me to travel the world a bit.

I’d definitely like to just get my PhD, become Dr Otter 🤓 but then i’d also like to discover even more things that nobody else has found 🙂

I would like to become a “Reader of Microbiology” which is a fairly tough task. A “reader” of a certain subject is higher than a Dr, lecturer, or Professor in his topic and is considered one of the most knowledgeable scientists of that topic in the world
