Back when I went to Uni the tuition fees were about £1700 a term and I had a student loan to help pay for them. This also helped me pay my rent whilst I was living away too.
Mine were £3000 at uni and I had a student loan and because my family were lower earners I had a bit of help from the government too. I also worked every holidays in John Lewis to save some money too!
University is free in France. It is an incredible just I had. However, I always worked part-time during my undergraduate and my master. I did jobs I loved and other I did not enjoy at all. However, experiencing so many different things probably gave ma a good idea of what I wanted to do in life.
Your 3/4 years of university which is called an undergraduate degree cost me £3000 a term but you don’t pay any of that when you start. Most students receive a student loan that pays your fees for you and its only when you’ve finished university and earn a certain amount of money from your job that you start paying it back.
My University degree was a 3 year course costing £3000 per year, I got the money through a loan off the Government, which is the way most people do it 🙂
My degree was £3,000 per year and I got some help from the government, for living costs. I also did a part time lab job during my 2nd year, then worked in Phones 4U during my 3rd year, then Carphone Warehouse during my final year 🙂
