• Question: How far along is your reaseach? and what would the £500 do for your research?

      I am nearly finished with my PhD, we are given 3 years to do as much as we can towards answering a research question we are given!

      As for the £500 we are not allowed to put it towards or research or keep it for ourselves. We should use it for science outreach stuff, so educating the public! I don’t think schools do enough microbiology experiments. So if I was lucky enough to win, (I see I don’t have your vote yet….) I would take microbiology to schools and show some cool experiments and hopefully inspire young people like yourselves to consider microbiology as a subject to study
