Most people believe that eukaryotic life began with something called the endosymbiont theory. How life began before this is a mystery even to me!

One of life’s mysteries! From a scientific point of view it probably would have started with a few simple organisms that evolved over millions and millions of years to become more complex and more dependent on each other. The biologists look at it from one direction, the physicists look at it from another and when you bring in religion that’s another new angle altogether! Another great topic for a debate at school!

Good question! And one that nobody knows for sure. I believe it started in the sea, where the conditions (light, temperature, nutrients, pH etc) was just right to allow life to begin. Though exactly how it started it one of the biggest unsolved mysteries
