I think that is every scientists dream! I would like to be known as the guy who produced a way to generate enough renewable energy for the entire worlds population, without this further increasing the effects of climate change.

Even if this doesn’t happen, I’m quite happy to say I have tried to do my bit 😊

Deep down we all have that desire to have that breakthrough eureka moment in science that will get you world recognition! For me it would be to eradicate hospital infections. But in reality I don’t think that will happen to me. But… I am still part of the process, so to me that’s all the gratification i need!

That would be amazing. But I know you have to be someone super special to achieve this. For the moment I am working for (and with) a world renowned bacteriophage scientist and to be honest that itself is a huge achievement for me (plus I’m very lucky to have had this opportunity). My biggest goal would be to help humankind with my research so that’s more important to me than becoming world renowned however if it does happen along the way I won’t be complaining!
