      I love lots of genomics, this is studying the DNA. So we do lots of things to read the DNA, manipulate it and change it, so see the effect on the bacteria and whether these changes can make us less/more sick

      I am definitely best at biology especially microbiology! There is a technique we use called aseptic technique where we have to keep everything sterile without contaminating our work with a bacteria that we don’t want in there (bacteria usually from our body or from someone else’s work) if there is one thing I can do is I can work really well without getting contamination. I have had contamination only a couple of times in the 8 years that I have been a microbiologist and both times I was ill, so I probably sneezed/coughed everywhere that I shouldn’t have!

      I’m definitely the best at biology, I’m not so great at the other sciences haha. I really like biology because I can see how it works around me in the natural world
