Currently, the leaves are falling off, so when you see them on the ground, what will start to happen will be lots of bacteria and fungi break the leaves down into nutrients they can use. So eventually you’ll see leaves starting out as bright colours, then see it slowly fade (due to lots of other reasons) as well and eventually, no leaf will be left as it will be fully degraded. But that’s just one thing, so many others, like why is the sky blue, why do we sweat, why do we have eyelashes…too many to name!

Why don’t you try asking yourself any question, no matter how crazy it may be and see if you can use a type of science to answer it? 🙂
How do you get to school? If you’re going by car, what is going on in the car engine to get it moving? Why have the windows steamed up? If you are walking…how are your legs moving? The questions are endless! You can ask yourself a different question every day until the summer holidays!

Of course.. experiments are essentially just people thinking of questions and trying to think of an answer to them 🙂 I bet you do this all the time on the way to school
