• Question: As makeup brushes develop bacteria over time, how often should i wash them? Everyone has different ideas and I wanted to know your opinions.

      I try to wash the ones I use everyday weekly. I notice if I don’t do this I end up with more spots, a huge giveaway that there is a bacteria build up! Also when it comes to mascara this needs to be thrown away after 3 months after opening, even if it’s not gone clumpy, you don’t want any nasty bacteria going near your eye do you! And an extra non scientific tip….shampoo is amazing for cleaning brushes 🙂

      Yeah, Ananthi covered this perfectly I think. Unfortunately I don’t know much about makeup!
